Well, it's 2010...but you knew that already.
I can't say I made any new years resolutions. Sure I wanna get toned, sure I want to be hot, sure I want a job or to win the multi-million dollar lottery...but I'm too young to buy tickets anyway. And none of those seem reachable-except for the get-toned part, but I'm a chocoholic, so its not gonna be the simplest thing to do.
Ten years ago...what am I saying? 10 years ago I was 6. I was fat, I hated my parents, didn't have too many friends, and liked to draw. Not much has changed.
Except now I don't look like the kind of person who you could use as a bowling ball just by asking them to touch their toes.
I can't say I've enjoyed the past 10 years, and lets face it- 2009 was complete bullshit. Random celebrities died, we're still in war, the economy has dropped and gotten slightly better, thousands of people have lost jobs, I'm still in high school.
The best thing about 2009? I dunno, maybe spending it with my boyfriend. Maybe not being grounded through most of it. Who knows?
But looking back on things, I just wasted a decade of my life. I didn't accomplish much, I've gained thousands of scars -both mentally and physically-, spent a summer in and out of hospitals, then in physical therapy from dislocating my finger, and the next summer getting stiches when a slate stone was dropped on my finger.
I've met "friends", I've been backstabbed, threatened, stalked, kissed, loved, and told that I was both a bad influence, and that some people wish that their kids would grow up like me or if they had kids, that they would have a heart like mine.
Crazy, huh?
I've started things I haven't finished, I've made bad choices, I've almost failed freshman algebra, and I've lost a lot, including my mind. Maybe thats why I'm writing this. Maybe I'm just crazy.
Am I?
Who knows?
If there's anythng I wish to accomplish in the next decade its maybe to get married, become a better artist, make money, and maybe surviving it.
Ha.
Survival.
I guess thats an important part, huh?
